2002 UPDATE
Cheng-Khee was very busy in 2002. In addition to teaching quite a few workshops, Cheng-Khee completed a series of watercolors to accompany the spring section of Swing Around the Sun, a collection of poems for children by Minnesota Poet, Barbara Juster Esbensen. It will be published by Carolrhoda Books of Minneapolis in March, 2003.
He had a one-man exhibition at the Art Resources Gallery of the Galleria in Edina, Minnesota, from October 3-19, 2002.
He contributed to the "Learning from Every Culture" section of the book, Searching for the Artist Within, by Karlyn Holman (April 2002). He was featured in "The Ever-Changing World of Cheng-Khee Chee," Watercolor, an American Artist Publication, Winter, 2002.
Cheng-Khee served as the Juror of Selection and Awards at the Watercolor Art Society-Houston International Exhibition, the Florida Watercolor Society Annual Exhibition and the Mississippi Watercolor Society National Exhibition.
