2003 Update
2003 was a very busy year for Cheng-Khee as he continued to teach quite a few workshops. Swing Around the Sun, a collection of poems for children by Minnesota Poet, Barbara Juster Esbensen with paintings by Cheng-Khee was published by Carolrhoda Books of Minneapolis in March, 2003.
In January, 2003, he was one of three artists featured in The Artist's Magazine, in the article by Loraine Crouch entitled, "The Big Freeze, Three artists share their secrets for capturing the winter landscape in pastel, watercolor, and oil.
He was the Juror of Selection of the California Watercolor Association National Exhibition and also the Juror of Selection and Awards, Pittsburgh Watercolor Society National Exhibition.
He was a demonstrator at the American Watercolor Society, April 23, 2003.
From August 14 to September 27, Cheng-Khee's Retrospective Exhibition was the first exhibition at the new Bloomington Art Center in Bloomington, Minnesota. The new Bloomington Center for the Arts is located at 1800 West Old Shakopee Road, Bloomington, MN.
Also in 2003, Cheng-Khee served on the National Advisory Board of Watermedia, sponsored by the Watercolor Art Society-Houston.
