"Cheng-Khee is a remarkable artist and a remarkable person.  At his workshops, I am consistently aware that I am in the presence of a master--a remarkable experience not often encountered.  And yet he has such a kind and humble way of interacting, that he makes it easy for a student to approach and question him.  He shares his knowledge freely.  Although his whole workshop is an exemplary experience, my favorite part is the "clinic or critique?" session that he tends to do in midweek.  It provides the interested and aware student with a remarkable opportunity to observe Cheng-Khee's vision and tremendous painting skill, and application of design principles, as he takes pieces that sometimes, to my novice eye appear hopeless (including my own), and with their owner's permission makes adjustments to the composition that completely save the piece.  In the process, he is consistently kind as he analyzes the good points of the painting, and then gives his input regarding improvements that could be made and why--and he makes the change right before your eyes.  It's an amazing learning experience to watch this process repeated for each interested student for the duration of an afternoon."  -- Judith Beck

I particularly enjoyed Cheng-Khee's philosophical discussions and the eastern influences on his art.  -- Marilyn Bachelor

Simply spectacular!  A must workshop for all watercolorists.  -- Susan Marchetti

Cheng-Khee jests with you, poke's humour at you in a subtle way that "teaches"--when he does this you know that he believes in your ability to learn.  -- Sheila M. Currie

A Cheng-Khee workshop extends beyond a week of wonderful art.  He and his wife Bee will touch you with their kindness and sharing of themselves.  Cheng-Khee is an awesome teacher.  He obviously enjoys teaching and sharing his watercolor techniques with students.  I not only benefited from his instruction, but also his philosophy.  He is an inspiring instructor.  -- Joyce Kilpatrick
